Baby Houdini

I’m playing the part of the investigative journalist this morning, trying to figure out how my daughter managed to climb into her crib twice yesterday. I’m going to follow her downstairs, wait on the fringes of her room, and try to catch her in the act. Apparently, she used her Elmo rocker for some leverage the first time, because I found it next to the crib. She had no such assistance the second time, though, because I moved Elmo into my bedroom (dear God, he’s infiltrated every room of the house). I still can’t fathom how she hoisted her little leg up over the tall rails. It is only a matter of time before she decides to climb out. Guess I’d best be looking for a toddler bed…
